The Williams Formula 1 team has partnered with Sparco ahead of the 2026 season on a multi-year deal.

Sparco joins the Grove outfit as its official racewear and technical apparel supplier, providing race suits for drivers Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon, as well as the team's F1 Academy driver, and members of the Williams F1 Team Driver Academy, Williams Heritage, sim racing drivers and the mechanics.

Sparco had previously partnered with Williams back in the 1990s with Nigel Mansell, Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve all claiming their drivers' championship titles in Sparco race suits.

“Atlassian Williams F1 Team warmly welcomes Sparco as our Racewear and Technical Apparel Supplier as we enter a new regulations era for Formula 1,” Luke Timmins, director of merchandise and licensing shared. “Sparco is a part of Williams' storied history and we look forward to finding the next step in performance alongside them.”

Aldino Bellazzini, Sparco chairman and CEO, added: “Atlassian Williams F1 Team and Sparco share a Championship-winning heritage in Formula 1, and renewing this partnership means coming back to a chapter that helped define both brands.

“It is a return built for what comes next: we bring new expertise, advanced materials and an even more disciplined, measurable approach to performance.

“As the team enters F1’s new regulations era, we are proud to bring our experience to the drivers and the team, translated into technical equipment developed to the highest standards of global motorsport.”

Private testing for the 2026 F1 season is currently under way in Barcelona, although Williams is not present due to delays with the FW48. Instead, the team is carrying out virtual testing before heading to Bahrain for the next round of testing on 11-13 February.

The season will begin with the Australian Grand Prix on 6-8 March at Albert Park.
